A Few Highlights

TAA’s Annual Convention is the  premier association sponsored event dedicated exclusively to the auction professional and the auction industry.   Attending the Convention offers you an opportunity to obtain your continuing education requirements; meet and network with your peers; and  visit one-on-one with several exhibiting companies that offer the products and services you need to become more profitable, promote your auction company and help your auctions run more accurately and smoothly. 

the President’s Welcome Party

The Safari Texas Ranch is the site for this year’s President's Welcome Party. The Ranch is located just minutes from all major freeways in the Sugar Land area. A unique setting, on a 44 acre game ranch brings the natural beauty of Texas to every guest.

 The Safari Texas Ranch is an exceptional venue to host President’s Croucher’s Party. The party will be held in the Safari Lodge Room overlooking a lake with a large deck and ornate gazebo.  Entertainment will be provided by local talent and beef will be on the dinner menu.  So come join us for a great fun filled Safari Night Out.

 The Scholarship Luncheon and Auction

6 Scholarships have been awarded since the scholarship program debuted in 2005.  The specific and primary purposes for the program is to award scholarship(s) to  candidates selected from applicants who are employed by, themselves, their parent(s) or grandparent(s) who have been an active member of the TAA for at least 2 years. The program is funded via the auction during the Scholarship Luncheon held at the annual convention.  We encourage you to donate items and attend the auction to help support this valuable program.  You don’t have to purchase a ticket to attend auction portion of the program...just show up and support the auction.  

The Memorial Breakfast

The convention comes to a close on Sunday morning with the Memorial Breakfast.  This event is a time for attendees gather to  remember members of our auction family who are no longer with us.  This is a quite time to reflect and pay our respect to those families.   

The Fun Auction 

The fun auction is a integral part of the convention.  This is a major fund raiser for TAA.  Please don’t forget to bring your item to help support this event. 

The  Contests

Register early for the auctioneer contests...you could be the next champion. Don’t forget to gather those photos and award winning advertising promotional pieces and enter the advertising and photo contests.
